History
Gyro Plastics Ltd was started in 1968 at Tawa (near Wellington). In 1995 the company moved to its present factory in Lower Hutt
Products for the electrical industry have been manufactured for many years and the name Gyro (trademarked) is synonymous with underground pillar boxes. Company Profile
Previously the company concentrated on custom molding , for companies in New Zealand and Australia. Products manufactured included, tables for the Sydney Olympic Games, mailboxes for National Mail, specialised buoys for NIWA etc.
Since the year 2000, we have concentrated on servicing the electrical networks with a range of underground distribution pillars and cabinets. Custom molding is still carried out as required by our customers.
Development-Design-Production-Sales
The development, design and production of our products, is located in Lower Hutt. This central location enables us to supply product overnight to almost all parts of the country.
Sales and administration are located in Auckland.
